Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: October, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using https://www.detailstationcincy.com/ (the “Website”), operated by The Detail Station LLC (“The Detail Station,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your use of the Website and provide general information about the terms applicable to our automotive detailing and protection services.
By using the Website, you agree to comply with the provisions applicable to your use of the Website. Service-specific terms, pricing, and booking conditions will be communicated as applicable before a service is confirmed. Where express acceptance is required, you must provide that acceptance before proceeding.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website.
Our Services and Pricing
The Detail Station provides automotive appearance and protection services in Cincinnati, Ohio, including interior detailing, exterior detailing, ceramic coatings, paint correction, window tinting, and paint protection film (PPF).
Our services are tailored to each vehicle's condition, size, paintwork, materials, and specific requirements. The appropriate service and expected results may be discussed during an initial consultation or vehicle inspection.
Quotes provided through our Website, by phone, by email, or through other communication channels are based on the information available at the time. The final price may vary if the vehicle's actual condition, size, or service requirements differ from the information initially provided. We will communicate material price adjustments and obtain the customer's authorization before performing additional work.
We reserve the right to modify our services, descriptions, and published prices as business needs change. Changes to published prices do not automatically alter the terms of a service already confirmed with a customer.
Appointments, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by The Detail Station. Submitting a request through our Website does not necessarily constitute a confirmed appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedule.
Any applicable cancellation deadlines, rescheduling restrictions, or fees will be disclosed to the customer before the booking is confirmed. Customers will be informed of applicable refund conditions before making a deposit or advance payment. All booking conditions are subject to applicable law.
We may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment because of equipment issues, staffing limitations, severe weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. When this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange an alternative appointment.
Payments and deposits associated with a canceled or rescheduled appointment will be handled according to the applicable booking terms and law. Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived.
Deposits and Payments
If a deposit or advance payment is required to secure a booking, the amount, payment deadline, and applicable refund or cancellation conditions will be communicated before payment is made.
Any deposit paid toward a confirmed service will be applied to the agreed service price according to the terms of the booking.
Customers are responsible for paying the agreed service charges and any additional charges that have been disclosed and authorized. Payment methods, payment timing, and any applicable fees will be communicated during the booking process.
We will communicate material changes to the agreed service price before performing additional work and obtain the customer's authorization where required.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any refund, payment, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Vehicle Condition and Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their vehicle, including known paint defects, previous repairs, aftermarket modifications, existing damage, and other conditions that may affect the service.
Before service begins, customers should remove personal belongings, cash, valuables, important documents, and other items from the vehicle. The Detail Station is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle except to the extent required by applicable law.
Customers should notify us of any known mechanical, electrical, electronic, or other vehicle issues that could affect the work being performed.
We may decline, modify, or discontinue a service if the vehicle's condition presents a safety risk, the requested work is unsuitable for the vehicle, or proceeding could reasonably cause damage. Where practical, we will explain the issue and discuss available alternatives with the customer.
If an inspection reveals existing damage, defects, or conditions that may affect the work or its expected results, we may discuss those findings with the customer before proceeding.
Any additional work outside the agreed scope must be discussed with the customer and authorized before it is performed.
Service Results and Limitations
The Detail Station uses professional products, equipment, and techniques to improve vehicle appearance and provide surface protection. However, results depend on the vehicle's existing condition, material composition, previous treatments, and exposure to environmental factors.
We cannot guarantee that every stain, odor, scratch, swirl mark, water spot, paint defect, or other imperfection will be completely removed. Some defects may be permanent or may require additional work that is not included in the original service. We will communicate material limitations identified during an inspection where reasonably practicable.
Paint correction involves removing or reducing a controlled amount of clear coat or paint to improve the appearance of surface defects. The extent of correction depends on paint thickness, defect depth, and the condition of the finish. We will not promise complete defect removal when doing so could compromise the vehicle's paintwork.
Ceramic coatings and paint protection film provide protection within the limitations of the particular product and installation. They do not make a vehicle immune to scratches, rock chips, chemical damage, staining, or other physical or environmental damage. Product-specific warranties, where applicable, are subject to the manufacturer's written terms and conditions.
Window tinting results may vary depending on the selected film, glass characteristics, installation conditions, and other vehicle-specific factors. Customers should communicate their preferences and any special requirements before installation. Applicable legal requirements and relevant installation limitations will be discussed where appropriate.
Nothing in this section excludes any express warranty, representation, or consumer protection right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Warranty and Product-Specific Coverage
Any warranty offered for a particular service or product will be governed by the written warranty terms provided by The Detail Station or the relevant manufacturer.
Warranty coverage may depend on proper installation, maintenance, usage, environmental exposure, and compliance with applicable care instructions. Certain conditions or types of damage may be excluded from coverage under the applicable warranty.
A manufacturer's warranty is separate from any service guarantee expressly provided by The Detail Station. Customers should review all applicable warranty documentation before relying on a particular coverage period, condition, or remedy.
The availability, duration, and scope of warranty coverage may vary by product and service. Customers should request and review the applicable written warranty documentation for their specific purchase or installation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any express warranty or consumer protection right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Customer Concerns and Service Remedies
If you have concerns about a service performed by The Detail Station, please contact us promptly and describe the issue. Where appropriate, we may request photographs, inspect the vehicle, or arrange an in-person assessment.
Customers should provide relevant information about the service performed and the concern identified so that we can assess the matter appropriately.
Depending on the circumstances, the available resolution may include further inspection, corrective work, partial re-performance of the service, or another appropriate remedy.
Any proposed resolution will depend on the nature of the issue, the original service agreement, applicable warranty terms, and applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any remedies to which a customer is legally entitled.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website or services will be handled by a court with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and any other valid agreement between the parties.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising any non-waivable legal rights or remedies available under applicable law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.
If the provision cannot be made enforceable, it will be severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, Website features, business practices, or legal requirements.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, changes will apply from the date they are posted to the extent legally permitted.
Updates to these Terms do not automatically modify the terms of a service agreement already confirmed with a customer. Any changes to an existing service agreement will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.
Where required, we will seek the customer's express acceptance of material changes before they apply to the relevant transaction.
We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about the current Terms.
